The challenge

SironaCareShop manages two eCommerce stores developed on Shopify. The first, lidergrip.com, is dedicated to sports recovery products; and sironacareshop.com, focused on selling health products. Therefore, with a growing volume of orders and increasingly complex accounting operations. Working on Shopify without Holded generated manual work, risk of errors, and lack of financial visibility.

The main problems identified were:
Shopify commissions were not correctly reflected in the corresponding accounting account.
PayPal commissions were not properly identified.
Duplicates and lack of synchronization in the creation and updating of contacts.
Difficulty in scaling operations when managing two independent eCommerce stores.

  • Generation of sales invoices in Holded for each confirmed order in Shopify.
  • Correct association of the customer and the corresponding store.
  • Prepared to comply with tax and accounting requirements.

3. Proper management of Shopify commissions

One of the key points of the project was to correctly reflect the Shopify commission:

  • Separation of the gross order amount and the commission applied by Shopify.
  • Automatic recording of the commission in the corresponding accounting account in Holded.
  • Elimination of manual adjustments and accounting discrepancies.

4. Payment methods control: card and PayPal
